Need Sleep?

We’re going to give you the extended recipe, but in a pinch, you can leave out the ylang ylang and patchouli essential oils.

Here’s what you’ll need:

Ylang ylang essential oil – one drop, patchouli essential oil – one drop, one drop of bergamot essential oil, and lavender essential oil – four drops. If you choose to leave out the ylang ylang and patchouli essential oils, increase the bergamot to three drops.

This recipe can be added to your electric diffuser.

Need More Sleep?

This recipe is another one for use in your diffuser and should help you sleep.

What you’ll need:

Two drops of sweet orange essential oil, three drops of neroli/vetiver essential oil, nine drops of lavender essential oil, and one drop of chamomile essential oil.

Add these oils to 2 ounces of distilled water in a small spray bottle. Just before bedtime, this can be sprayed over your pillows and bed. You can also use this in an electric diffuser or reed diffuser.

‘Tis the Season

With the holidays approaching, what else usually rears its ugly head? That’s right, the cold and flu season. For relief from a cold and the pain that goes with it, check out this recipe.

Here’s what you’ll need:

One drop of cedarwood essential oil, five drops of marjoram essential oil, five drops of frankincense essential oil, 10 drops of lavender essential oil. You’ll need 4 fluid ounces of a carrier oil for this recipe. Sweet almond oil or jojoba are suggested.

In a PET plastic bottle or dark glass bottle, mix all of the ingredients together. Into a warm bath, pour this mixture and stir. Take a nice long soak. Whatever mixture you did not use can be stored in a dark, cool place – not the humid bathroom.
