Frankincense Essential Oil Blend
Frankincense has been proven to lower heart rate and high blood pressure caused by stress, anxiety, or nervousness. This makes it particularly effective for stress relief. For example, you can use it before an important meeting or the night before a big exam.
- Directions: Add 2 drops of frankincense essential oil, 3 drops of lavender essential oil, and 2 drops of orange essential oil into a 2ml glass bottle. Roll the glass bottle between your fingers to blend the oils together. Use the essential oil blend via a diffuser.
Peppermint Essential Oil Roll-On
Peppermint is renowned for its minty scent. It is perfect for an energy boost as it can help you to fatigue after a long day at work. You can even use it before work in the morning, as an alternative to drinking coffee. Try it and experience the improvement in your ability to focus and energy levels firsthand.
- Directions: Add 6 drops of peppermint essential oil, 4 drops of lavender essential oil, and 10ml of jojoba oil into a glass roller bottle. Ensure that the rollerball is made of glass and not metal so that it will not react with the essential oils. Cap the bottle and roll it between your fingers to blend the oils together. Roll this oil blend onto your temples whenever you need an energy boost.
Sandalwood Face Oil
Sandalwood has a deep, woody, and masculine scent, making it a popular ingredient in men’s cologne. When used as a face oil, it is effective in promoting peace and relaxation which is helpful for men who suffer from insomnia. Sandalwood face oil is also excellent for relieving eczema and dry patches on the skin, giving it anti-ageing properties.
- Directions: Add 5 drops of sandalwood essential oil, 10 drops of chamomile (roman) essential oil, 3 drops of germanium essential oil, and 50ml of rosehip oil into a glass pipette bottle. Roll the glass bottle between your hands to blend the oils together. To use the face oil, apply 1 drop onto your fingers and massage it onto your face.
Balsam Fir Massage Oil
Balsam fir essential oil is excellent for the relief of sore muscles, joint pain, and general tension in the body. Men who regularly engage in sports and exercise or have physically demanding careers would benefit from using this essential oil as a massage oil. It stimulates the skin, muscles, and lymphatic system to produce a calming and relaxing effect, relieving respiratory and muscular aches. Balsam fir oil even has antibacterial properties, when applied topically on the skin.
- Directions: Add 40 drops of balsam fir essential oil, 10 drops of eucalyptus essential oil, 10 drops of peppermint essential oil, and 1 cup of jojoba oil into a 250ml glass bottle. Tip the glass bottle up and down multiple times to blend the oils together. Use an appropriate amount during massages.
